Gina has taught me that is it possible to lean on intrinsic motivation/reward regardless of my career. She showed me that I don’t have to rely so much on external outcomes for my work to feel meaningful. She also taught me that it’s possible to push back, prioritize your needs, and not take everything on. In other words, to set boundaries.
Without Gina’s coaching, I would still struggle with bringing work home and not letting it consume me at all hours. I am more able to tackle the present moment. Her coaching has made me more effective overall.
If anyone is thinking about hiring Gina as their coach, I would tell them that her sessions help you think critically about your situation. Be willing to introspect and know that you will get out what you put in.
